Contact Form 7 2.3 is now available. This version of Contact Form 7 officially supports WordPress 3.0. If you have experienced any issues between Contact Form 7 and WordPress 3.0, upgrading to Contact Form 7 2.3 is highly recommended. This update also contains several improvements and bug fixes.

Changelog

The required WordPress version has been changed and now requires WordPress 2.9 or higher. If you use WordPress 2.8, you will need to upgrade WordPress.
When you insert multi-line text input into the message body of HTML-formatted mail, Contact Form 7 automatically applies an ‘autop’ (auto paragraph) filter to the text. This makes it so that the original user input styles remain — and does not break paragraph styles in the HTML view.
Translations for German (by Ivan Graf), Finnish (by Mediajalostamo), Thai (by kazama) and Danish (by Georg S. Adamsen) have been updated.

Contact Form 7 2.2.1

I have released Contact Form 7 2.2.1. This update includes several fixes of various bugs recently reported on the support forum. It also includes a security enhancement for HTML-formatted mail.

Changelog

Filters for special mail tags have been moved to modules/special-mail-tags.php
A bug that caused erroneous formatting around
tags has been fixed
A bug of pipes, which happened when you used a label with apostrophe and the pipe wouldn’t work, has been fixed
esc_html() is applied to posted texts when the texts are inserted into the message body of HTML-formatted mail
Action hooks, wpcf7_enqueue_scripts and wpcf7_enqueue_styles, have been added

Contact Form 7 2.2 is now available. This update contains many improvements, so upgrading to this version as soon as possible is recommended.

Change Log

Now you can embed contact forms into template files.
The tab index option is newly supported for most of form tags.
New special mail tags have been added. These include the following: [_url], [_date], [_time], [_post_author] and [_post_author_email].
wpcf7_mail_tag_replaced filter has been introduced in includes/classes.php.
Translation for Galician has been created by Arume Desenvolvementos Informáticos.
Translations for Italian (Gianni Diurno), German (Ivan Graf), Danish (Georg S. Adamsen) and Hungarian (Farkas Győző) have been updated.

I have just released Contact Form 7 2.1.2. This update includes several fixes of various bugs. If you are experiencing any issues with older versions of Contact Form 7, I recommend upgrading to this new release.

Contact Form 7 2.1.1

I have released Contact Form 7 2.1.1. This update includes a fix for an issue reported that the earlier release conflicts with other plugins. If you see a conflict issue with Contact Form 7 2.1, I highly recommend upgrading quickly to this new release. I would recommend that you upgrade even if you aren’t having issues currently in order to avoid future difficulties.

Changelog

Some other plugins that attempt to include files in inadvisable way were conflicting with Contact Form 7 2.1. A workaround for avoiding these types of issues has been introduced.
Translations for Chinese (traditional; James Wu), Danish (Georg S. Adamsen), German (Ivan Graf) and Italian (Gianni Diurno) have been updated. Translation for Afrikaans has been newly created by Schalk Burger.
In addition, this release has a few bug-fixes and improvements.

Contact Form 7 2.1 is now available; this is the first major update in the past six months, and it contains a great number of improvements and fixes for various bugs. It has been tested on the latest version of WordPress. Upgrade and utilize these exciting new features today.

Changelog

The required WordPress version has been changed and now requires WordPress 2.8 or higher. If you use WordPress 2.7, you will need to upgrade WordPress.
New “special mail tags” ([wpcf7.post_id], [wpcf7.post_name], [wpcf7.post_title], and [wpcf7.post_url]) have been introduced.
The multilingualization functionality has been improved. You are now able to create contact forms in any languages with just a few clicks.
The Tag Generator’s JavaScript coding has been wholly reconstructed and you can extend it from the additional modules.
Interoperability with cache plugins (WP Super Cache, etc.) has been improved.
When known issues are found on your web host, a warning message is shown on the administration panel.
Uninstall.php file has been added. This will clean up its table from your database when you remove Contact Form 7 from your site.
Translations for Estonian (by Egon Elbre), German (by Ivan Graf), Hindi (by Ashish) and Italian (by Gianni Diurno) have been updated.
