Contact Form 7 version 5.9.7 is now available. This minor update release includes a few improvements. Contact Form 7 5.9.7 is the first version that has been tested with WordPress 6.6.

Major changes

• Frontend JS: Detects HTML errors of wrong form placement.
• SWV: Applies the maxitems validation rule to radio buttons and exclusive checkboxes.
• Increases the default maxlength value to 400 for a single-line text field and to 2,000 for a text area.
