We marked the feature of the Constant Contact integration as deprecated. This means we no longer recommend that our users use it. Exposure of the feature will be decreased in stages. While we guarantee that security updates and a minimum level of user support for this feature will be continued until the end of 2024, we will no longer invest in it.
In January of last year, we found a dark pattern in the Billing screen of the Constant Contact dashboard that frustrates the user’s attempt to cancel an account. We asked Constant Contact to improve its account canceling process, and they answered that they were aware of the issue and promised to work on it. After waiting a year, however, nothing has changed.
It goes against our principles to recommend services that we know are engaged in morally degrading acts. This is why we decided to end the integration with Constant Contact.
